But since it's Franco, a man who has already shown he has no boundaries when it comes to social norms, it's easier to shrug it off as long as he didn't actually go to the girl's house and bang her and her mom (and the pie she just baked) together.

Yeah it's hella sleazy, not only because of the age gap but because of the massive power imbalance between the two.

If a 35 year old teacher slept with a 17 year old student, it would be technically legal, but still a pretty disgusting thing for him to do. Same thing here.
