Yay, new Little Britain

CaptainWacky

I want to smell dark matter
All the same jokes as last series but in a slightly different location!

"Computer says "no"."

We know. IT'S THE SAME PUNCLINE EVERYTIME TIMEtgls

Shiht

Sorry wacky, it was shite, sketches rang on too long, were too self endulgent, and just basically not funny enough.

If next weeks is as bad as this weeks I wont bother watching the rest.

I never liked Little Britain from the very start.

What do I win?

No need to be sorry, Whisky, I agree. :(

I WAS THE FIRST PERSON ON THE INTERNET TO BE CYNICAL ABOUT LITTLE BRITAIN!

I wonder if I can borrow some money off the me from 5 years ago.

Seems unlikely, didn't have any then either.

Little Britain USA was awful, too. I TRIED to watch it a few times, but it was so not-funny I gave up.

It's worse than evil.

Seriously, I never liked it. There is no intelligence to any of the "humour" and I've never been a fan of that type of gross out type of "comedy" that has become so popular in the UK in recent years.

it appealed to teenage idiots, and those that couldnt 'get' the league of gentlemen..

may god have mercy on their souls

Just when you thought it was safe to turn on your television sets:

The new campaign, featuring Vicky and a host of your favourite Little Britain characters has been created to clearly demonstrate the Nationwide difference. The three commercials are the first to feature Matt Lucas’ and David Walliams’ comic creations in a television advertising campaign.

James Boulton, Marketing Divisional Director explains, “The new TV ads are iconic, full of humour, and are a natural foil for the common sense approach Nationwide has to financial services. These ads are further evidence of our commitment to showing how our mutual model combined with great service, and a commitment to long term value for our members, makes us very different.”

Are banks and building societies having a secret "who can have the most annoying adverts?" competition?

Brother of the famous Adam Boulton, the guy who lost it (rightly so) with Alastair Campbell.

Learn something new everyday...

I got that press release in an email, but thought it must be really really old circular spam, rather than the genuine article, because nobody likes Little Britain anymore, do they? But then I saw the ad on tv.

Anthony Head pretends he does in interviews.

Nationwide Planning session

Well, all our ideas are really bad so far. Have we considered taking a tired, yet popular TV format and bending it to our needs?

Why yes! It fits with our tired and irrelevant brand image!

Genius, let's do it!

!!
