2/3 thru my first Guinness;..I know , not terribly original, but it's...tradition...'sides, I really like it. ( the one time a year you'll catch me drinking beer).
hafta finish my irish stew before heading out to the pub so drink up me hearties, and Slainte!
 
I'm going to smash a glass over my head soon. Blood will ensue and it will give me something to do cleaning it up.
 
As the night progresses, if I feel like getting up to some real shenanigans, I've got a wee drop or two of Bushmill's "Black Bush" up in the cupboard for backup...
 
^for that matter, they needn't be irish; any old crazy nationality will do...go on out and toast the Emerald Ile, i say, leave off the blood-letting for a rainy day!
 
I've been to Ireland enough times to get too misty eyed over it.


I wil be spending the day in on my own as per usual operations.

so, dinner's merrily bubbling away, company's not here til 8 and I've a fresh Guinness to hand...figured it'd be prudent to get all that chopping and dicing of potatoes and such done before proceeding any further with the imbibing plan...
