She's an elaborate satire. I'm surprised more people don't get it.

An elaborate satire aimed at 13 year old girls - lol - that is brilliant.
 
She went out in public wearing a lampshade.
 
She appeared as a surprise to a bunch of kids doing voluntary work to get tickets to a gig where she was due to do two numbers. She had a giant button on her had about 2 and a half feet wide, hanging over one side of her head.

I could really have hit her with a baseball bat as hard as possible at that moment.

If it's satire she sure does blur the line between satirical expression and being a complete muppet really well.
 
David Frost would have been a much more effective satarist if he had worn lampshades on his head.
