Your Ultimate Comfort Food

I keep thinking of comfort foods.

Leftover Lo Mein eaten right out of the carton, and not heated up.

In VA, beef & cheese nachos with a huge thing of queso from Tippy's Taco's.

oh if only we had decent take out!! it's all the usual shite franchises if one wants to "eat out".

ha! the so-called 'restaurants' up here dont do anything in the kitchen I cant do and there's a 300% mark up. when I go out to eat, I wanna either be dazzled by a brilliant chef putting a new twist on something, or try something new altogether.
Luckily I have some seriously good cooks for friends.
but it would be really nice to be able to take visitors out for dinner when they come to town.

Well, I don't normally have these lying about, but cheesesteaks and Philly soft pretzels (which you can ONLY get in Philly...not that Wetzel's or Auntie Anne's garbage!) always do me good.
