Radio Head

NeonMercuryASH

beer, I want beer
In two weeks, I'm hitting the Airwaves. Island 107. It's to do a reading of one of MY pieces. I just don't know which one to choose.

Start with: -20 = -20
Which is the same as: 16-36 = 25-45
Which can also be expressed as: (2+2) 2 (9 X (2+2) = 52) 9 X 5
Add 81/4 to both sides: (2+2) 2 (9 X (2+2) + 81/4 = 52) 9 X 5 + 81/4
Rearrange the terms: ({2+2}) 9/2) 2 = (5-9/2) 2
Ergo: 2+2 - 9/2 = 5
Hence: 2 + 2 = 5

I saw that one. I didn't like it as much as the other one. I wish it was still on wikipedia. They had it set up beautifully. I guess they have enabled LaTeX there. I still really want to learn LaTeX.

I see how that works, but is there a reason that you choose to add 81/4 to both sides?
quatre vingt et un/quat

Kitty over Kitty? Is that what you mean? Junkyard Kitties? On both sides of the equation to ensure it stays in PURRfect balance?

Anything you do to one side of an equation MUST be done to the other side. 81/4 was used to manipulate the results. The math remains true.

No no. I know about balancing the equation. Why that particular quantity. Why not add 10 to both sides? Or do you simply like quantities with lots of Quatre?

You use a particular number that will help get those screwy results you simply the equation.

BTW, Neon, those seemingly random responses I made in this thread were actually titles to Radiohead songs.
