Failure is not the worst thing in the world Hero1000. The very worst thing not to try. Good judgment comes from experience, and often experience comes from bad judgment. The tragic irony of all this is that success always occurs in private and but all failures are in full public view.

Personally if I had permitted my failures, or what seemed to me at the time a lack of success, to discourage me I cannot see any way in which I would ever have made progress.

Give me a shovel and I'll make you a hole. I am, if nobody had ever paid attention to my efforts, trying to strengthen my ability to troll in this general area that we call TK. If, and this is just hypothetical, if I could see an example of a masterful troll, then perhaps my over-all ability will improve dramatically.
