Just watched it again, for the 3rd or 4th time, and every time I do I forget the cuba bit at the end.
It just feels so tacked on and unlike the rest of the film.
All the way through the cops and the FBI are against each other, then suddenly its all "Hey, I'm going to invade cuba, want in?" "Sure, plus heres a bunch of other guys to help too"
Then they blow up a massive house, kill half the cuban army, drive trucks into gunatelemo bay, and have a jokey scene in a minefield.
I know the film is about drugs, I just didn't think the writers were on them.
