I guess my concern would be that four half hour episodes it too long, but I guess if she covers a wide range of subjects it will be fine and I did enjoy the Shakespeare and Christmas episodes.

Both were really good. You’d think it’d get old but it doesn’t, and you actually learn a bit.

I used to watch Brush Strokes (well, my parents did and I fidgeted waiting for it to end). I have no idea why it’s a running joke for Philomena, as it’s not very well known or iconic. It’s not even a little known “cult classic”. I wonder if they’ll ever explain what the deal is.
