Comedian Frankie Boyle will attempt to appear controversial by telling a mildly disappointing joke about Muhammad, it has emerged.
"Even with the lowered expectations created by Boyle's recent work, the joke will be considered a mild disappointment," claimed Boyle expert Sir Richard O'Brien from The Crystal Maze.
"Was I the only one sexually aroused by the abduction of Madeleine McCann?" Boyle asked his followers on Twitter, rasing a few mild chuckles.
"This isn't the quite funny 'Queen's haunted pussy' Boyle of the past, but rather the fairly tedious 'I literally want to beat Jordan's mong son to death' Boyle of today," added O'Brien, before play the harmonica.
"Every woman who competed in the Olympics was ugly," tweeted Boyle.
Michael McIntyre was thankfully unavailable for comment.
