No, he's not. Explain how Nemesis and Insurrection are better movies than Generations? They are just not, both are cringe worthy parodies of a once great series.
Generations isn't that great either but it blows those two steaming piles of monkey dribble out of the water.
Baird didn't even know what the fuck he was doing on Nemesis let alone having a CLUE about the ST franchise. I hate those types that think they know better than every single fan, Nemesis was a total train wreck without the train.
I was at the London premiere of Insurrection and I was more entertained by the trailers before the movie. Once again it felt nothing like next Gen and had the weakest story I have ever heard, ever.

Yes, at least everyone was in-character in Generations and it wasn't just stupid juvenile crap like Insurrection or copy and paste of previous movies like Nemeshite and the "Lifeforms" song FUCKING OWNS.
