I'm going to watch Hot Fuzz soon and hopefully this rare Mentalist thread will get back on topic. Frankly I'm a little embarrassed at how it's turned out and understand completely why he doesn't post here much now.

Okay, I watched it today, GREAT FUCKING MOVIE! Better than Shaun of the Dead, even...definitely funnier anyway. I laughed out loud many times and that's rare for me. The action scenes were even really good (the fight in the model village was class!) Timothy Dalton was excellent as the evil shop manager and stole every scene he was in. Good to see lots of familiar british comics too (Bill Bailey, Steve Coogan taking a break from drug-pushing to make a cameo.)

Anyway, I do plan to watch this movie eventually, because the ads for it were funny as hell. I am almost never up to date on movies because there isn't a theater in the town I live in and not a movie rental place either. I may just go down to Wal*Mart and buy it if you guys think it's so funny.
