Speaking of jobs that you realize you're happy not to have, I was driving home around midnight the other night after watching a late movie and saw these guys working the freeway. Here in south Louisiana, it's hot even that late at night. It was about ninety-two degrees, plus 100% humidity, AND they're working on a busy major freeway in the middle of the night. When I sunk down into my bed in my AC controlled room that night, I was very thankful that I have the job I have.
