Asuka is taking some time off to heal from a knee injury she’s been dealing with for a couple of months. Hopefully, she will be back soon.

The odd thing is that in a wrestling Facebook group I'm a member of, there was a strange guy insisting that Asuka was retiring. When a few people asked him for a source, he started posting images of an inflamed leg in a hospital bed, claiming it was Asuka and that her knee was destroyed. I did a simple reverse image search and found that the picture dated back to 2017. When I confronted him, he deleted all his posts and then his entire account.
