Before Quinnen Williams set foot in Indianapolis for the NFL's scouting combine there were already plenty of folks in the NFL who believed the Alabama defensive tackle was the best player in the 2019 draft. Williams' workout Sunday, with the rest of the defensive linemen, only enhanced that argument. Consider since 2006 Williams' official 40-time of 4.83 seconds was the second-fastest 40 by a 300-pound defensive player and fourth-fastest by any 300-pound player at the combine. Since '06 Jaye Howard is the only defensive player who weighed at least 300 pounds to have run faster than Williams (Howard had a 4.82 in the 40 at the 2012 combine).
