At some point, I think around episode 2 of the current season, this became the best show on television. It was always good, but this season has really stepped it up in terms of complexity, depth, dialog, and so many other things. Wonderful stuff. So it's probably about to be cancled.

On the contrary, we've still got at least 2/3 of Season 3 and a confirmed fourth season.

I like this season much more than season two so far. The vampire/werewolf politics are quite intersting and the pacing is better than season two where Sookie and Bill seemed to spend four episodes in a hotel room and the Maryann story just repeated the same thing over and over again until the finale. SO YEAH.
