Aged 88. You might remember him from the classic Star Trek episode 'The Doomsday Machine' as Commodore Decker.

Which was certainly a great part. He was also the most frequent and greatest guest star on Murder She Wrote as Jessica's friend (AND LOVER?) Doctor Seth.

I liked him.

Is this real life?
I wouldn't have even guessed he was still alive, but I'll have to watch out for him next time I see Murder, She Wrote.

2:45 gives me chills.

Absolutely riveting. It's scenes like that that make Trek worth sticking with, no matter how cheesy some parts of it may seem now.

Can you imagine Voyager or Enterprise letting a guest actor give a performance like that?

So were Seth and Jessica lovers or not.
