Not quite. These are my arthritis aqua aerobics friends. We meet for lunch at the same restaurant the first Friday of the month to celebrate with everyone having a birthday that month. And the ladies only meet for lunch at a different restaurant on the third Tuesday every month.

I love hanging out with these people. They are generally retired but are very active in the community and in their homes. They are artists, musicians, builders, writers, bird watchers, hikers, cooks, and whatever else they want to be because they have the time to explore their interests. I find them to be an inspiration.

If you want to know what the secret is to a long active life, it is swimming.
