I'm of the opinion that it certainly does. Same with celebrity dipshittery -- they're stupid and pampered, of course they're going to still do stupid things if we're not looking. I say we might as well be entertained by it, especially once they stop doing things to entertain us on purpose.
 
if brit-brit doesn't manage to actually die in the next couple years from an O/D, a horrific drunk-driving car-wreck, or some paparazzi-related incident, I think her best career move would be to fake her own death ala Tupac.

I agree with you to a point. However, when a person is having an obvious breakdown it is time to back away and give them some room to get themselves back together again. True, she should stay out of public and cloister herself on a private island with no one but people with her best interests at heart surrounding her. But, she is the one having the breakdown, not us, so it is up to us to do the right thing.

I was glad to hear the police arrested the papparazzi hounding her the other day. Britney has rights too - like the right to get a cup of coffee without those jerks swarming all over her.

Be honest, if everywhere you went a bunch of people swarmed you like they do Britney and other celebrities, what would you do? I know it wouldn't take much for me before I'd be jamming an umbrella in papparazzi anal cavaties.
 
She's going to be just like Courtney Love, a giant mess with a few clean periods in between. Like Francis Bean Britney's boys will be raised by someone else and be better off.

I don't know but he probably should be. Britney has some real problems that requires real help, not that shite Phil is dishing out.

What I hate is that these papparazzi are invading her space to the point she can't even open her car door without touching one of them. She's screaming at them to get away and they will not back up even an inch, just keep flashing in her face and crowding her. If she weren't a celebrity the papparazzi couldn't get away with stalking and harassing her the way they do. Fact is they have just plain crossed the freaking line. Obviously they didn't learn anything by killing Princess Diana either because the behaviour is the same - get a photograph at any cost. The thing is we know what she looks like so there isn't any reason for that kind of craziness.

The difference with Britney is that her money will one day dry up. Courtney and Frances can continue living on Nirvana royalties in perpetuity. But someday, Britney won't have that as a backup when all interest in her vanishes. She still spends as if her next 5 albums are guaranteed platinum. It is doubtful that she will ever tour again, and she never had an acting career.

She'll get a lifeline from a publisher dangling a 7-figure advance for her memoirs, but she'll spend that and never finish the book.
