I remember when we used to take the moral high-ground over America

..on violent crimes. When I was growing up I lived in a rough area and there was a marked level of violence and the occasional stabbing but looking back at the UK from over here in Greece it boggles the mind how many children are getting attacked and attacking others. It seems like there is a couple of stories a week where someone has been shot or stabbed. As I said, we used to, not very long ago, take pride in the lack of street crime compared with the levels in the USA. That shit is over. The country is in a pitiful state and the government are fucking pansy-ass lightweights who send repeat offenders of serious crimes to prison for nothing more than a long fucking weekend. And as you can see this isn't just limited to the inner cities either.

If only this latest story was a freak occurrence. It's not.

And no, I don't feel like posting this in a more appropriate part of the board, fuck off.

Yeah, it's pretty shocking...I suppose what's more shocking is I read those stories every morning and I'm completely unsurprised by them.

I know blaming rap songs seems to be the easy route, but when half of them about straping your nines to your lowrider and blowing people away, and every kid you see in the street is dressed like a gangster rapper, it makes you wonder if there isnt something in it.

It's no the music that makes them like that, the music just reflects how they feel so they're drawn to it.

I just blame the parents for not raising the little bastards to have respect for other people.. doesn't matter what country they're in.

I listened to gangsta rap when I was in highschool (much to the chagrin of my parents), but that didn't mean I was out popping little bitches and joining gangs. Usually I like the music, not the lyrics.

People are so quick to blame the music, the videogames, the tv shows, when it's lazy ass parents who don't have time to teach their kids how to treat others, and that fucking with people like that usually gets you killed.

I blame the rise of Asperger's.

YOU ALL KEEP BREEDING

Their like tribbles!

Well you still don't have the gun crimes like the U.S. so there's that to be proud of. Stabbing and beating is highly personal, you have to have human contact so it's an even scarier act is you ask me. You have to reeeeeeeally want to kill someone to lay your hands on them and do it. The non-chalance of a shooting is scarey but you can see how it may not mean as much.

We need robot police officers.

An American on holiday in the UK is most likely responsible for that heinous crime. I say keep those bastards out!

Thanks for the post LG. Gun crime is WAY up in the inner cites though even if it's not on the same level as some American cites, God forbid.

Grammour Boy...

Shut up.

The scary thing is more and more murders are commited by people who feel absolutly no remorse, show no emotion, feel nothing while they kill the guy, and feel nothing when they get sent down.

Its not that they dont know right from wrong, they just dont care.

They dont need a reason to kill you, if they feel like killing you, they will.

I don't think that is true, people aren't robots some sort of emotion goes along with murder. Whether it's passion, anger, or fear a killer kills for a reason.

I watch a lot and I mean A LOT of real life crime shows and one in particular, The First 48 shows suspects being interviewed and no matter how bad ass the little gangster thought he was poppin' a cap in some guy 9 times out of 10 those detectives can make the him cry. It's nice to see they're human but that doesn't negate the fact that they committed a heinous crime.

Um, that could do with the fact that there's a TV camera in their face. Someone comes along and wants to put them on TV, anything they say is inadmissable anyway, so why not play it up and develop a fanbase, however deeply disturbed.

It's not like they have anything better to do while sitting in a cell.

I don't think most of those kids are smart enough to think of that... they weren't smart enough to figure out how to not get caught.

There's a strangeness about people who commit acts of brutality. Some of them are very fucking sensitive.

I could be a murderer if I found murder appealing.

Sweeney Todd may inspire a reality show.

NEXT TOP MURDER!
