PENNY!!!!! OMG.. the whole time I kept thinking how the hell is Desmond going to live through all this. He's on the freighter with the C4.. then he's with the 6 survivors on the raft thingy, and I was just hoping somehow he'd get separated from them so he could live and then BAM! Penny shows up with her super cool ship and Desmond and Penny are together again. The only downside of this is it probably means Desmond won't be featured much next season. MAYBE he will be though.. at least he's alive!

SAYID KICKED KEAMEY'S ASS! Kinda lame that they didn't make sure he was dead, but I guess if he had been then the ship would have blown up way before Michael came up with the freezing idea.

Hurley playing chess with the invisible Eco (Echo?) Can't remember how to spell it, but whatever. It was cool that they mentioned him.

Too many things happened for me to remember it all.. Locke is dead? Can't remember what the speculation was about the casket last season but I think I remember Locke being guess for the dead guy. I guess the island will heal him somehow.

OK that's all I got right now.

It was pretty kick ass.. but two hours is almost TOO much Lost, cause so many things happen and it's hard to remember them all.
 
that's cool... i like a lotta lost, but i get where you're coming from with the need to remember shit thing... it's like you're goin' into work when you watch an episode.

i like how i totally highjacked your discussion thread with a don't spoil it for me type thing; here's hoping someone that actually watched it will join the conversation and i'll be forced to GTFO.

lol, he's all grown up and has an afro and stuff. I wonder if Hurley thinks Michael is alive, cause as far as we know everyone assumes Michael died in the explosion. I'm sure Sheppard somehow saved him: YOU CAN GO NOW.

If Michael is alive, then maybe Jin survived. I don't know if Sun is really going over to the dark side or MAYBE she's doing something Ben wants her to do by contacting Widmore.
 
I FINALLY got around to watching it - and I have three words: Holy fuck !!!!!

There was almost too much awesome. Des surviving and MEETING PENNY YES!!! Sawyer jumping off the helicopter, Ben teleporting the island (and himself, it seems). IS JIN DEAD? IS MICHAEL DEAD? What about Farrady? WALT! LOCKE'S IN THE CASKET! CLAIRE DREAM!

Awesome.

Of course now it'll be AGES to season 5, but I hope we get lots of scenes where Ben and Jack have to carry round Locke's corpse in a comical fashion.


AS A SIDE NOTE: As someone who notices these things, there was A LOT of Kate cleavage. Like, more than usual. That was nice of them.
 
What do you thnk about Sun talking to Widmore? (I don't think I'm spelling Widmore right.) Maybe she's trying to get back to the island so she can look for Jin, or maybe Ben has a plan and put her up to whatever it is.. damn we have to wait way toooooo long to find out all these things.

I think Christian telling Michael he could go meant that he was allowed to die. The island had been stopping him from committing suicide so many times, now it was saying "you can go". It's that, or he was sent somewhere else.

Walt.. how old is he now? Nice to have him back. And 3 years in the future nicely accounts for his afro growth.

Pen! Des! AYE!!! I was grinning throughout their reuniting, despite the smile/kissing noises. I thought Des was a gonner after the copter crash, though.

I reckon Jin's dead. Just like Michael, he'd paid his dues and now the island's knocking him off. Plus if you freeze frame the explosion, there's a little Jin shaped blob that gets absorbed by the fireball. Mysteriously, all the extras with their life jackets completely vanish.

Keamy in the Orchid was actually a bit creepy. Nice mood lighting. He shouldn't have taken off his gear.

No four toed statues in sight. Did the writers strike nix this?
 
Did they say we were going to see another staue, or just that we'd finde out more about it, because even though they didn't exactly explain anything I think it's pretty safe to say that whoever made the four-toed statue also made the frozen donkey wheel.
 
Good point about Michael, fuddlemiff. Hadn't thought about it that way before, I just assumed that he was saving him somehow. Forgot all about Michael trying to kill himself!

There were runes on that pillar looking thing too.. so I guess the "island" is ancient. Maybe there was a four toed race!
 
Good finale, though I didn't find it as shocking or emotional as previous years. Maybe just because I'm more dead inside than in previous years.

The fight between Sayid and Keamy was awesome. The Others were quite badass too. Funny, since last year they were defeated by Bernard, a handcuffed Sayid and Hurley in a van!

Mister Eko mention was cool. I hope we actually see his ghost sometie.

Walt! Finally he can appear as his proper age again. He didn't really do much here, which makes me think we'll see more of him next year (Ben did say that they ALL have to go back, so that could include Walt, Frank and Desmond.)

So is the Vault what Ben uses to go back and forth from the island, and how Tom showed up in New York? Guess they won't be able to use that again.

Michael's dead. Oh well. Wasn't much point in bringing him back. He didn't really save anyone either, other than Sun and the baby, I guess, by freezing the bomb.

JIN! Not dead, surely. Michael got a cool encounter with Christian, Jin dies without us even seeing him explode? Surely he got in the water...

It did seem that Daniel and the Red Shirts vanished too and moved with the island. I thinkt he wreckage of the boat did too. Hopefully Daniel will pick up Jin and they'll show up on the island just in time to see Sawyer and Juliet drunk on gin and having sex (just out of boredom.)

I noticed Kate's tits too. Like when she got out of bed after the Claire dream. It's nice that Claire (dream Claire anyway) still cares about Aaron.

Only really bad bit was Jack's delivery of "see you in another life, brother!" Totally ruined that iconic line. Even Desmond looked embarrassed.

Nice to see Desmond back with Penny. I'm sure he'll be back next year with Ben wanting to kill Penny and him possibly having to go back to the island. My guess: Desmond and Penny travel back in time and live on the island in the past to get away from her dad and Ben and everyone. Aye.

I guess the wheel was made by the same people who made the four toed statue. Whoever made that.

Miles wasn't in it much, but he was awesome in the scene with Charlotte. "Yeah, what DO I mean. " Hopefully he'll get a lot more to do next season.

Didn't I call Charlotte being born on the island in Freestyle Lost (or possibly earlier.) YES, I believe I did. So is she a Dharma baby or something? OR BEN AND ANNIE'S BABY, AS I PREDICTED?
 
LOL.. you did call Charlotte being born on the island, IN FACT you said she's Ben's daughter, and now I think so too! Maybe that's why Ben stole Alex to make up for losing Charlotte.
 
So next season we'll find out Des and Pen are the mouldy Adam and Eve?
