Get real. The man already contradicted his so-called principles before, and he'll do that again and again and again. The full-fledged support of Israel (the very nation he was a fierce critic of in the beginning of his campaign) that he announced recently makes it unlikely that he's going to withdraw the troops anytime soon.

Stopping the "Iraq war" will destabilize the region further, and the gates of Hell will open on Israel. If America pulls out from Iraq, it will becomes a haven for Syrian and Iranian backed militias. Obama can afford lying and breaking principles, but he cannot afford going at odds with the very lobbies that will decide whether he's going to be a president or not.
