Did anyone else watch it? It was on SCIFI channel last night but it started out as an internet show. Stars Amanda Tapping, who looks hot with black hair, imo. The chick playing her daughter has sexy teeth.

It sounds very interesting on the tech front. The whole thing has CGI backdrops, so it'll either look very cool and snazzy, or fucking awful.

Dunno what the story is at all, though.

The show looks great, I heard it looks even better in HD, but I don't have HD.

Amanda Tapping's character is a Dr, I guess she some kind of mutant cause she's about 150 yrs old. She and her daughter have this sanctuary, and they go out and rescue, or capture creatures because they are either in danger or they are dangerous. They hired a forensic psychologist to help them, (he looks a lot like Daniel Jackson) because his mother was killed by a "monster" when he was 8, but no one believed him. He spent his life studying the mind.. and blah blah. Anyway, it has great potential for interesting episodes. Hopefully SCIFI channel won't fuck it up!

I heard Scifi are gonna change their name now they have so many reality shows.
 
they've been showing ECW (wrestling) for a while too, so it would make sense the bastards.

Yeah I agree it was ok. Amanda Tapping was hotter as a blonde and better as Samantha Carter though.

I just watched the first webisode and it looks pretty good so far. I wonder if the TV episodes are extended versions of these?

When Amanda Tapping first spoke I thought she was doing a Russian accent, but once I figured out she was British it didn't sound so bad. The accent does drop out occasionally, but she's way better than most. There was a London prostitute at the beginning who sounded Australian.
 
I read somewhere that she was born in England or something.. but she's trying to make the accent sound Victorian since her character is so old. OH and yeah, the episodes are put together from the webisodes, but they must have added some content.

ALSO.. I wanted to mention that Dualla is in it, and she looks even lovelier than on BSG. I don't know if she's going to be a regular cast member though.
 
Does she dump her boyfriend when he tries to propose, watch him die to save her life, then jump in bed with another guy five minutes later on the this show? ;)
 
She did dump the Daniel Jackson clone, then called him after he was happily ensconced in the sanctuary and accused him of seeing someone else!

That guy's way too much like Daniel Jackson. Watching the webisodes on Youtube, it's of such low quality, so dark and murky, that all I can see is his haircut and glasses and hear his voice. I have to keep telling myself I'm not watching Stargate.
 
I missed the latest episode, but I read some reviews for it elsewhere. Too many of those people were looking for problems with the graphics and stuff to watch it. Why can't people just sit and enjoy a show anymore without nitpicking it to death?
 
I got the first season from the library today.
