Have you been to the U.S.?

I've never been to Canada and I don't ever plan on going as I wouldn't spend one dime in the piss pot you call a country. However, many of my friends and family have gone and they say it's gorgeous and refreshing but racist and whiney. They also say that Americans really get under your skin. I can't imagine why...Could it be because you right there, right next to the greatest country on earth and no one on the planet acknowledges you? I mean America does sometimes, kind of like when you let your kid brother believe he chose what movie you're going to see but essentially you're a non-existent land mass filled with people that have funny accents.

You reside in a country that is taking ownership of banks, business etc. using government funds. Canada has not spent a solitary dime on such. Our ruling Conservatives did not hand a single Canadian penny to any of the corporations or banks during this recession. The USA has actually taking part ownership in many banks, and other businesses. Who is the fucking socialist here? Bloody moronic cunt.
Canada has never been, is not, and never will be, socialist. Try to learn something for once, you fucking Americans. First order of business would be for you all to learn what makes a socialist. Feel free to shut the fuck up.

I heard on CNN that Obama is thinking of Annexing Canada as a 51st state. Thay way we won't need permission to drive through it to get to Alaska. :)

Hate to say it, Laura, but the US is not the greatest country on Earth. It's certainly the common claim here, but we've too many internal problems that we prefer to ignore and we butt into too many international affairs where we'd be better off letting be while ignoring ones that do matter.

I don't think there is one single nation that can claim to be 'greatest', because each nation has its own problems it has to deal with which holds it back. I could list our problems, and you'd be just as quick to point the finger at the 'offending party' as the source or perpetuator of those problems, while an objective look at the evidence would disagree with you.

The only positive thing I can say about you thinking that the US is the 'greatest' nation on earth is that you've a very strong sense of place about the US. I honestly disagree with the claim.
