How do you explain that ALL of the black security guards in my building were "off" today? Mom called me this morning, not only was traffic a breeze but out of 27 blacks that work in her department, 22 called out. The other 5 are Doctors.

What that quote represents, as does the mass "sick day" today, is that "po' black folks" believe Obama will somehow "take care of them" more than he will "white folks".

For fuck's sake, when John Street became the second black mayor in Philadelphia's history, one of his first quotes was, "Now the Brothers and Sisters run this city!"
