The thing about depression, is that you often forget you have felt this way before, you feel like now is the worse you have ever felt, and that there is no hope things will get better.
But chances are you have felt this bad before, and things did get better.
The past can be hard to remember, and the future hard to imagine, when all you have is pain in the present.
Tomorrow might not be better than today, but the day after might be.
There are always people who say drinking isn't the answer, not a permanent answer maybe, but as a temporary one, it can be pretty good.
Anyway I'm not much use at cheering people up online, when I need to cheer someone up at work, I usually just spin their chair around a few times.
