And it's good!

For someone who can fuck up a microwave dinner, I actually baked something for our office Christmas party today, and it's yummy. A baked vidalia onion dip with real mayo (that's Hellman's for you Miracle Whip bitches), garlic, parmesan cheese, and hot sauce. Diiiilicious!

just came down to print off my ginger spice drop cookie recipe (after wasting my time tearing through all my recipe books, naturally).

Long live the computer and its alphabetized files!

Today I hope to get the cookies done and maybe the sugar plum ingrediants rounded up- they're such a pain in the ass to make, I tend to put that off, but really can't any longer.
 
I had a fabulouse Orange Ginger Spiced Pumpkin Tea at the Dove's Nest yesterday (great restaurant inside an antique store). Also, a chicken apricot salad with fresh fruit and an ABC spread (almonds, bacon and basically pimento cheese) with crostinis.

DAMMIT I'M HUNGRY NOW AND THE PARTY ISN'T FOR ANOTHER COUPLE HOURS

I can't eat at 3 am in the morning...It's just too early for that.
 
I just finished snickerdoodles, 3 more batches of cookies and everything is done for the year. YAY.

My brother's favorite.

I'll be baking this weekend. My usual, peanut butter kiss cookies, white chocolate chip and sugar. If the recipe is easy enough I'll make some snickerdoodles too, what the hell.

I like to bake but I am usually too lazy so I don't. Been planning to bake chocolate chip cookies for a year or so now.
