I thought the episode was really good by the way. It was great seeing Locke on his little mission and filling in that part of the story neatly in one episode was welcome as well.

Ben is awesome. I say it every week.


Seriously though, do they make Kate the most unlikable bitch in the universe on purpose or what? I need to know because I can't stand her and I hope she falls off a cliff.
 
As I have illustrated several times they can't write female characters at all and they all end up killed off/unlikable bitches/in a cabin somewhere.

Loved the new episode!

I think Juliet's heart will be broken :( Before I didn't like her much, but they made her really likable last night, even the relationship with Sawyer seemed good, like they were really good for each other. PLUS she has his back! AND she has a sexy back! Sawyer as a Dharma boss was hilarious in the way that only Sawyer can be.. the underlings were scared shitless of him.

Something happened on the island between the 70's and whenever the Losties arrived that made having babies on the island lethal. Wonder what it could be.. any ideas?

Good episode, you could tell Sawyer was just telling the guy what he needed to hear, and that he wasn't over Kate at all, just making the most of waiting for her to get back.

Nice to know a Korean can learn fluent English in just three years, I guess that's the end of stilted English from Jin.

Sawyer's sit down talk with Richard was also a highlight of the ep.

I did keep wondering where young Ben was, but maybe its too early for his arrival yet.
 
BTW, we get two weeks off here, is it the same over there, or are we going to get massively behind in episodes again?
 
I thought Ben would have been on the island by 1974. The guy who plays him is over 50. Also Charlotte was supposed to be born in 1979 but she's a three year old girl in 1974!? Doesn't add up. UNLESS that little ginger girl wasn't her and Dan just thought it was. Maybe it was ANNIE.

It was a good episode and it was good to take a break from all the Oceanic 6/Locke "destiny" stuff. Juliet was looking at her hottest. I liked her and Sawyer together. I hope they don't put too much emphasis on the love triangle (OR LOVE RECTANGLE) crap now that Kate's there.

Why do you think the Others want dead bodies? I guess they get reanimated in the Temple to do Jacob's bidding or something?

Horace had a different wife when he brought Ben to the island, I'm sure. Maybe THE TIMELINE WAS CHANGED? Or maybe they just forgot.

I hope they actually remembered to look for Rose and Bernard (and Vincent!) during those three years.

Who TAUGHT juliet to cook!! Last TIME i saw her she was Setting FIRE to muffins!!

I think giving them the body was just to show that one of the Darma people had died, and not all the deaths were on the others side, plus they could pull the bullet and see it was one of theirs.

I am begining to think Rose and Bernard died with the other nameless extras from the flaming arrows, but I guess since we never saw them die they are keeping their options open, they could even be the skeletons adam and eve, the one black stone and one white stone could symbolise them

Is that petition for real? It's only been few episodes... When has Lost ever given answers straight away?

Anyway, I loved this episode. It's great when they start off an episode with characters you don't recognise, you know you'll be in for an unusual story. And hearing Sayer's voice was a real wtf moment. :D Juliet looked the hottest I can remember and I agree, her and Sawyer were really good together. Shame Kate's gonna fuck that up and Juliet will have to go back to boring Jack again. I wonder what happened to Sayid? He's not on the Hydra island or in the VW. I thought that really was Sharlott. They prolly took artistic license with her age. Seeing Sawyer have the upper hand over "eyeliner guy" was great.
 
Maybe they just really hate Rebecca Mader so they gave her an embarrassing death ("mum says I can't have choclate before dinner") and made her ten years older as a final insult.

That black and white stone thing would be kind of racist!

But she would've recognised Juliet from years before and been weirded out that her boobs hadn't got less firm and such.

I'd never read the word "aviatrix" before.
 
We only saw her in the book club, so it's entirely possible she did recognise Juliet but didn't say anything because the island is a place where miracles happen (or she thought she was going senile.)

Maybe Sawyer and Juliet save her from the Purge somehow.
 
Wait, this show is confusing...who is Amy again? Reiko Aylesworth??

I know that we have a rerun this week, don't know about next week. If you have two weeks off, then we probably do too.
