Smallville

Well all the producers changed this season (which is why the cast and set-up is different) so maybe that "never see Superman or Clark flying" rule will be scrapped. He did leap to the top of a tall building in a single bound a few episodes ago.
 
Finally saw the wedding episode. Great how they ripped off Cloverfield (with the handheld camera viewpoint) and Jurrassic Park (the shaking jelly) all in one episode! 50 minutes of crap then the last 5 minutes were good (in terms of Smallville anyway.) THANK GOD LANA'S BACK WITH A LOVE TRIANGLE. I REALLY REALLY WANT TO SEE THAT.
 
Okay, saw the next one with the Legion arriving from the 31st century to be lame in the 21st century instead. Then at the end Chloe (who looked really pretty) suddenly just says that she still knows Clark's secret. SO WHAT THE FUCK was the ponit of that WHOLE EPISODE dedicated to erasing the memory of his secret from his mind? WHY DO I WATCH THIS CRAP?

DoomsDavis is about the worst bastardization of a Superman villian I've seen on the show so far; and I didn't even like Doomsday a whole lot to begin with!

And why must they constantly portray Clark as a total moron? The guy ends being a pulitzer prize winning journalist, and a New York Times Bestselling author!

I'm just pissed that they had Clark destroy the Legion ring, and that there is no flight or tights yet. They better correct that in Season 9.

Also. Lex Luthor better not be dead dead.

Probably a question about the Superman universe in general; why do Kryptons talk about not understanding "human emotions"? They seem to have the same range of emotions as any of the human Smallville characters. Bitchy, conniving, happy, sad. They don't seem any different to Lex, Lois and the rest.
 
They were different in the original movies and comics (I guess) so they carried that stuff about them not understanding humans over to Smallville, while at the same time having every Krptonian character act exactly like a human with super powers would.
 
They're supposed to ber logical and science minded, like vulcans without the ears.

I mostly skipped the new one to watch the BSG special. Turned over at the end to see Lana and Clark making out. AGAIN.
