ok, just downloaded an EXCELLENT quality rip of this film!!

i am sooooooo blown away at how good this film actually is!

The story is so perfect, the characters r soooo TOS SCARY PERFECTION!!

i find NO FLAWS!!

When i heard that Leonard Nimoy was gonna play Spock in a cameo i thought...CHEESEVILLE!!...k, NOT the case...it only made this film the best Trek film EVER...Nimoy deserves an OSCAR!!! Hey, what's a Trek film without a time travel element?:) In this film, the past is altered as a villian from the future seeks revenge in the past...Kirk's father dies as he is born...the Romulan villain sets out to kill the young Spock & make the OLD Spock watch in horror as....nah, not gonna tell u:)

The Trek franchise has cum full circle imo.:)

And how hot was the Spock/Uhura thang!??

SEXAAAAY!!!

These characters r as good as the original cast & deserve a Trek series...

...probably will not happen though, but Trek 12 has been green lighted!:)
 
What version did you download? Was it the resynced Russian Telesync with the Devise english track synced over?

It looked like a good version and I toyed with the idea of downloading it but then I might hate myself for not watching it on the big screen first which is a problem in of itself since it won't get here for ages.

Also, given the strength of its opening weekend I'd bet the bank on there being a sequel.

I dont care if the MF has 11 different threads about Star Trek (it's where we came from, after all) BUT I DO expect someone posting in the MF to be courteous enough to put SPOILER tags in for a film that many here will want to see ! Lucky for you Henny I'd seen the film already or I'd kick your ass to the curb!
