I love pork n' beans. I wish the baked beans I buy had more than 1-2 pieces of pork in them.

They are good! You just have to doctor them up a little. Add some brown sugar, a squirt of mustard, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce. Don't eat the pork! lol ew.

The pork is the best part. Just squirt some mustard on the beans and mmmmm.

Put bacon salt in it!

yeah that so-called "pork" is teh nasty.

Only at a family barbecue.

I think eating them without hot dogs or hamburgers present is a crime in some states.

Down here we ALWAYS have baked beans with fried fish and cheese grits. It is a tradition, I have no idea who started it.

I'd sooner die.

IT'S GOOD :rwmad:

Beans is one of my autism no-nos.

I am not a fan of the baked beans.

we call them Boston Baked beans up here, even though we do not live in Boston.
Odd, that.

Your near Boston though.

in that we're both on the same general part of the North American continent, yeah.
A 13 - hour drive is a bit of a jog.
(I have done it, but it was pretty tiring).

I've never even seen Boston Baked Beans, for what it's worth.

I'm not sure if I have or not.

Classic thread about stuff my mom eats.
