MJ, let us talk FRANKLY!!

The face...

what was he searching for?

"Man In The Mirror"??

The soul...

Joe Jackson did NOT destroy the artist known as Michael Jackson...but he did succsessfully make a son hate a father! Yeah

Abusive behavior from an adult role model will ALWAYS have a lasting effect on a child...i should know!:(

That said...MJ did NOT want to resemble his father in appearance...perhaps why the plastic surgery was such a big part of his life?

Joe Jackson should be publicly hanged as a tribute to MJ IMO!!

Fathers who are abusive & thrive are IDIOTS!!

The "abuse" didn't even stop with MJ's death. They were interviewing Joe Jackson at the BET awards, and not 2 seconds in, he started talking about his new record lable. His SON had JUST DIED!

Shameless.

It's pretty obvious that Michael was an EXTREMLEY sensitive and shy person. That's bad enough but try coupling that with the fact that you're going through puberty and you have spots all over your face and your father is calling you ugly and "big nose" constantly and then after that you have to hit the stage and entertain millions. Fun.

He recalls a story in his autobiography when a woman came up to the Jacksons and asked them where "little Michael was" and when someone pointed to him her face recoiled in disgust and she said "what happened"

Nice!

That would fuck me up. I don't know about anyone else.

I remember when Louis Theroux interviewed Joe and asked if Michael was gay (or mentioned homosexuality in some way) and Joe got all disgusted and aggressive.

For some reason being gay or labeled as such in the black community is not as accepted as it is in the white community. I've heard this to be true & i've also asked black people that i know & they have confirmed it...have no idea why.

Yeah, years of physical & verbal abuse by father & brothers, coupled with public adoration turned sour...becoming fucked up is inevitable imo.
