FUCK YOU, America!

Notice she didnt mention giving up her Dundee marmalade? There are limits after all!

And I bet she's keeping that shortbread coming.

Alex Salmond is a fish-eyed mong, to be fair.

They gave a good grilling to the deputy windbag with the eyebrows on C4 News a minute ago, what's her name again?

I DONT CARE THAT HIS CONVICTION IS AS SHAKY AS MR STEVENS SINGING GREEN DOOR.

We caught one fair and square. now can we burn him alive and still get a Balfour Beatty contract to build a new gadaffi palace please?

Seems only fair!

My favorite Sara Palin quote is "Only a dead fish goes with the flow" or something to that effect.

There is a very vocal group of Americans that scare the SHIT out of me. You guys can laugh at the wackos over here, but I have to live with them.. or with their political clout anyway. These are the idiots who think Sarah Palin would make a great president, they think there's a section in the health bill that calls for death panels, they are automatically against any reform Glenn Beck tells them they should be against. They have power, and they're not afraid to get jiggy with it. You can't tell them anything, you can't point out their mistakes in a rational manner.

I haven't been watching the news, so I have no idea what all this boycott Scotland business is aboot, but I'm sure it's just one more embarrassing thing about my country. WE'RE DOOOOMED.

Part of the problem is not with republicans at all, its with the democratic party. The democratic party is spineless. I can't stand them. The Democratic party has a majority in both houses of congress and a president in the white house and they still cant get shit done. I'm not saying that the vocal nut jobs on the right and the republican party in general isnt a problem, but one must admit that the democratic party is part of the problem.

Obama is the leader of the democratic party, he needs to kick some ass or nothing is going to get done and once again the republicans and the various nut jobs that they have will have one on national health care.

The problem with the democratic party is that they have been spineless for years they don't really know how to not be at this point. We saw a glimpse of what they could do when Obama got elected, but they have for the most part gone back to being spineless shitbags.

You honestly think there's a difference between Re-pube-lick-ins and Dumb-o-cunts? ROFLMAO! They're two sides of the same coin. Statist control freaks. They have more in common than they have differences.

There are diffrences if you look at them.

Mostly party platform stuff probably, but still.

I do find it amusing that for "simular threads" the following comes up

"FUCK FUKC UFKC FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCKK FKUC FUCKC FUK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FCUK "

"FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCKL FULKCLJL ALSKDFJLK "

"FUCK FUCK, SHIT, FUCK HATE THREAdl. "

etc.

The differences are minor at best, in the grand scheme of things.

I would not call public health care a "minor issue".

:D

The differences can be explained as slightly varying paths to crash the country, broaden governmental powers, and subvert any and all possibility of rebellion, literal or philosophical. Obamacare is little more than heir to the Patriot Act, and whether it passes or not, the next growth of state power will be its descendant. Since Lincoln, in fluctuating degrees, this has been the inevitable path of American history, as engineered by the two party system.

oh yeah waestern daeval and all that.

Nicola Sturgeon? ANOTHER FISH REFERENCE.

NOTE: While most emails have thus far been very supportive, whether they be from Americans, British citizens, and many others, there have been a few British and Scottish individuals who have sent threatening and extremely defamatory messages towards American relatives and friends of the Lockerbie victims.

Lest there be any doubt, this boycott is not aimed against the people of Scotland or the United Kingdom, but against the governments of Scotland and Britain. The unfortunate reality is that initiating boycotts against the tourism, banking, and oil industries of a particular country are necessary in order to force that government to listen and understand and admit their error.

The influence of British Petroleum in this entire charade has been well known and discussed quite often, most especially in the United Kingdom. But thus far the British and Scottish legislatures have refused to take any action or admit that such commercial interests have taken precedence, rather than such dubious claims of "compassion."

To those brave souls in Scotland and the rest of the United Kingdom who stand against the corruption of their politicians and are willing to stand with us in protecting the memories and legacy of the victims of Pan Am Flight 103, your support is graciously appreciated.

.

I don't even remember Lockerbie happening at the time, really, other than vague memories of news reports. Too busy playing with Transformers I guess.

So which industries are Scottish whiskey and salmon supposed to be in? Tourism, banking, or oil? Or maybe they're just food products that ordinary Scots sell so they can bring some money home at the end of the week. These idiots have boycotted common sense.

There's nothing to worry about. These people are just angry, their boycott won't get anywhere. Most Americans can't be arsed to boycott our own criminal industries.

Oh, I know, I'm just analysing their silly claims. They say they want to fight back at the oil industry and so on, but instead they ask people to boycott stuff which is most likely made by small, independent companies that have nothing to do with the situation.

That passage boils down to "you're either with us or you're cowards" and "Sorry, but if our plan works (which it won't but still) then we would purposefully trash your economy just to make sure our disdain is heard!"

Check this..

Why Are There No Letters of Condemnation?

Although the great majority of letters we receive are supportive, there are also the inevitable letters of criticism and condemnation.

Some Scottish and British respondents ask why we do not print such letters?

Quite simply, because most of them display the most foul and disgusting language directed against the American families and friends of the victims of Pan Am Flight 103, as well as towards the people of the United States in general.

In addition, we have received numerous death threats from self-proclaimed Scottish nationalists. Two individuals involved with this campaign have relatives in Scotland, which only reveals the absurdity of such appalling behavior.

Boycotting is a legitimate and peaceful form of protest against governments. This campaign has been initiated by several American relatives and friends of the Lockerbie victims. The fact that there has been a severe lack of empathy and civility from critical and opposing respondents has caused us to refuse to tarnish the memories of our loved ones by printing their abominations.

To those who would condemn us for daring to speak out on the behalf of those murdered by the released terrorist, whose own voices can no longer be heard, instead of sharing your indignation with us, perhaps your time would best be served condemning those in your respective governments who sold your interests out in the name of oil and big business.

The sheer hatred in this passage is very badly hidden. I mean, OMG... We're EEEEVVVVVVIIIIIILLLLL!!!

They are not only taking a moral high ground but calling the British people cowards for not somehow stopping this from happening as if we were fucking asked. The last quote is also comedy gold.

This is a vocal bunch of wingnuts and does not represent "America" like they would want us all to believe but it still pisses me off.

Mandelson the Meddler finds it "offensive" that there is a suggestion there were trade deals linked to this.

I find his breathing air quite offensive most days.

He's running the country so he shouldn't be too shocked.

Especially since he met Gadaffi's son while on holiday (while running the country).

And actually, Gordon Brown's come back from his hols, but he's hiding under his desk for fear that someone will ask his opinion on the issue.
