Well first off I am not a boy so your thread title fails. I suspect this is often a problem for you in life, determining the sex of those you interact with. Good luck to you Aquehonga.
 
A trick to figure out if a thread is utilizing you tags. Look at the view count. If it's unusually high for the quantity of responses, it's probably a tag thread.

I can tell from the first post, being tricked isn't the point. They are incredibly tiresome, as is people using them thinking they are clever. YAWN.

It's even easier for me to spot them, since nobody on this board addresses me by my full username. Even if they bother to go beyond "Eggs" they simply add "Mayo" and not the whole word.

Full name = you tag.
 
Similar with my handle. Most people say Ily, and the others usually spell it 'Ilyana', or 'Illyana' (which I don't mind at all, btw), plus... about everyone knows I'm a chick, except for n00bs, and I seldom answer n00bs until they have more than 100 posts, by which time I guess they're not n00bs anymore, at least technically, and omg I can't seem to stop rambling on and on and on about any topic that comes to mind I really shouldn't have drunken that third coffeebibblebibble bibble Help bibble...
