Kelsey Grammar as Doctor Hank McBeast

Yeah Beast and Kitty were great (and Anna Paquin) but everything else was SHIT ON A PLATE. Especially Angel. And Juggernaut. And I really like Mystique and they just left her character naked on the floor so fuck that.

Magneto wouldn't have been such a prick to Mystique IF BRYAN SINGER WAS STILL DIRECTING.

I seem to remember buying this on bluray for 5 quid, really must watch it some day.

Only seen it on pirate wobblevision.

Grammer had the rare combination of burlyness and pomposity that made him the perfect Hank McCoy.

X3 was a surplus of cool little scenes shoehorned into a framework that couldn't bear the load --kind of like Spider-Man 3. Maybe it's a symptom of trilogy-itis, where a director, fearful that he won't get another chance, tries to cram every good idea he's had --but had to previously shelve-- into the third film.

Well not for X-Men, since it wasn't the same director as the previous two and there's little evidence Brett Ratner has cool ideas.

Different directors for all the original star wars films too, not that there were good ideas in ROTJ either really.

Personally I think they could have come up with a better threat than just another easily blown up death star.

Two Death Stars and a giant space duck?

That would've been okay by me.

In a way that supports my theory --you can just see Ratner sitting through the first two films and thinking "when I do it I'll put in this and this and this and this and...oh yeah, this...I'll put in all the cool things Singer never get around to! Yeah! Oh fuck...this may be my only shot...better put them ALL IN NOW QUICK HOLY SHIT FUCK SHIT FUCK SHIT"

The film had some moments, and a story that made a little sense --but I'll never forgive them for tossing off the woefully underrated and under-utilized Cyclops the way they did. Just...dumb.

Kelsey was the black sheep of the family.

Beast's more of a cat.
