Is this real life?
Everyone on EFCL was obsessed with The Dead Zone and had "if you could see what he sees" sig banners imploring people to watch the show? I think in the end an ironically titled, short-lived Dead Zone board might've been set up.

And to think it didn't even make it into the MF list of shows that might be the best show of the decade!

I only just remembered because the show's on tv right now.

Memory's a bit fuzzy, but I think Mogh and Pere were the biggest fans. And Aatrek must've provided the banners and avs because they were animated.
 
I don't think I've ever watched a single episode. Indeed, I needed this thread to remind me it existed, and prompt memories of spoilers in early copies of SFX.
 
Seen the film, thats all.
 
Read the story. That's about it. Anthony Michael Hall is much better creating perfect women, scoring with drunk chicks and scamming Molly Ringwald out of her underwear, IMHO. It was cool how he turned up in The Dark Knight, tho.
 
Didn't know there was a movie version. I watched it a few times over the years, but there's something oddly stilted about the show even though the story ideas are fairly good and a bit of money has been spent on it.

Anyway, I bet SAUSAGEMAN will remember this.
 
Are you sure you didn't just choose to imagine this version of EFCL as it was preferable to your mind than the "LET'S HAVE A VOTE ON IF WE SHOULD HAVE A VOTE ON HAVING A VOTE" version?

I guess I imagined that black guy with the super powers becoming president and swatting flies and winning the Nobel peace prize and stuff as well.

I do!

I watched like two episodes, and then didn't watch any more. It was okay, I guess, but nothing gripping. Ezridax was on the show, and as adorable as ever.

And, yes, Pere was absolutely obsessed with that show. To put it in context, Pere also supported John Edwards in 2008, so his judgement is very suspect.
