omfg...I had to tutor this morning and thought I was going to peel open right there! I cant drink any more bloody hydrating water either so leave that out. Im going to float away.
 
Eggs, amphetamines, starting drinking at 11 AM the day before and moving to something else well before I go to sleep.

(Eggs, though, seriously, and bacon. They've got HEALING VITAMINS or something).
 
Water, WATER, water, and some ibuprofen.
 
where I went wrong was they were trying to avoid alot of dishes to clean up later so used those stupid tiny little plastic glasses...one good sip and the damn thing's half empty..another sip and someone is refilling the glass....those sips add up.

While you are out grocery shopping stop somewhere and get a plate full of those cheese & gravy covered fries I heard you Canadians love. That really should help, AND ALSO be delicious. PLUS go to bed early tonight, you should feel fine tomorrow.
 
Coke and French Fries. Lots of both.

- Lots of water, some aspirin or ibu (I prefer aspirin)

- A nice greasy breakfast -- on these days, an Egg McMuffin or two is your friend

- Coffee and fruit juice (preferably cran-apple etc. instead of OJ, which is too acidic)

- Sleep it off
 
Just a few easy steps.

1. Take a large dose of vitamin B12 (I take a 1500mg dose, you can really only find that at GNC's or other vitamin shoppes). It helps your body increase its metabolism and filters out the excess alcohol quicker.
2. Take 200mg of Ibuprofen liquigels (they release faster) as recommended on the label.
3. Eat a protein filled breakfast and lunch. Eggs, bacon, and some buttered toast for breakfast. A good turkey and swiss sandwich for lunch.
4. Drink as much water as you want. After an hour or two, switch to drinking one glass of milk every two hours. OR you can just chug Ginger Ale all day. Make sure it's real Ginger though. The ginger is good for settling upset stomachs.
5. Take a smaller B supplement with lunch.

VOILA! No more hangover.

Assuming you stopped drinking at 2am and woke up at 6-7am. This will eliminate the symptoms of a hangover within an hour and completely cure the hangover by noon.


OR

Just smoke some pot first thing in the morning. The THC will eliminate the hangover headache for the rest of the day. Just eat something to deal with the discomfort.
 
Probably too late to be useful now but it's all about drinking a shit ton of water before you go to bed.

Everyone already mentioned the greasy breakfast which helps soak up excess alcohol and reinforces your constitution but the single best method is to throw up if you really feel shitty the next morning. Throw up before you eat breakfast to get rid of all that excess alcohol that is still working itself in to your blood stream and then eat your fry up breakfast with a big cold bottle of Coke. Drink loads of the stuff. It's miracle cure for upset stomachs.
 
^that is something i did not know! And I forgot to drink (read: was too drunk to remember) water before I went to bed!

thanks all - I followed some of the suggestions and do feel better. Was surprised at the common themes, too.
Hopefully I'm not going to be so idiotic again - but if I am, I've got some ideas now for Plan B!
 
I'll add that water and a vitamin B supplement before bed will combat hangovers.

Latest research is that hangovers are a B deficiency along with dehydration.

After reading the others, I would add this (because it works for me): Before you pass out, see if you feel like a having small glass of milk. If you normally drink milk and you feel like it, it helps settle your stomach from all the burning alcohol & acidy mixers. But still drink all the water you can. And don't deny yourself a good greasy pig-out. :D
 
Milk curdles on contact with alcohol. Get ready to puke your guts out.
 
I just don't get hungover. I know people may scoff and say I'm bullshitting ya, but out of all the years I've been getting totally fucked up, I've maybe suffered three hangovers. Usually because I didn't eat enough before going out, or passed out while the room was still spinning.

True, I may feel a bit off the next morning, but I never have blasting headaches or the like.
 
I believe you, because I never have either. I've puked my guts out in my uni student/drinking days but not had hangovers. And I see why. They're boring.
That's why I wasn't sure how to treat it. So I asked my friends the experts! <3

However, I am really not a huge drinker. Two glasses if company's over, three and it's a party. After that I really start wanting water naturally.
Also I want to stay on good terms with my liver.
