I can field this one, because I actually did this for the first 20 years or so of my life until I started eating better.
Its perfectly fine, up until the point where your body simply packs in, you go to the doctors, they send you to a specialist, and they give you a choice, eat more variety of food, or die.
I chose life, and I hope you do to.
Plus you can still eat crisps, you just have to have other stuff now and again.
I'm on a special diet - low carb, low salt, low fat, high fiber. Which means I don't eat enough to support my body weight and I fart all of the time. And, every time I fart, I lose another tenth of a pound. At this rate, by the end of the year, I'm going to weigh about 12 pounds and I'm going to slap the crap out of the first person that says to me I look great or that a person can never be too thin. Yes. A person can be too thin. People need to get over their obsession with fat. I've been too thin too many times in my life - like close to death thin - so I like being a little chunky monkey when I can get a little weight on me and keep it there.
Eat a little ice cream. Have some mashed potatoes with gravy. You may not live an extra five years but you will be happier the years you live.
