Well, it does exactly what it says on the tin, I guess.

And when you're done with that, how about KITTENS AND TIGER WOODS SEX TEXTS?

BANAL, PREDICTABLE, AND ON YOUR INTERWEB!

Will they ever repeat the Mel Gibson episode of The Simpsons again?

They should do it now, while it is TOPICAL.

They get get him and Kramer on together, they probably need the work.

You could always write the Simpsons/Fox people.

Or if a station airs it in syndication during other times in the week talk to your local station. They might be able to help.

He kills a senator with the American flag in that ep. Doesn't seem so out of character.

And the friend is a talking pie for some reason!

Does this mean I can't like Lethal Weapon and Mad Max anymore? :(

The Mad Max movies and everything he did up to Thunderdome are grandfathered in.

Lethal Weapon was his first Hollywood blockbuster, so Hollywood is waiting to see what Danny Glover thinks of all this, and following his lead.

I haven't liked anything he's done since Maverick anyway, so I'm barely affected.

I liked Payback, but anything after that, meh.

Maverick is great, and I don't think it gets the credit it should for being a quirky western. Plus, the great scene between him and Danny Glover, complete with Lethal Weapon music, is just awesome.

WHAT ABOUT BRAVEHEART? I SLAUGHTERED THE ENGLISH FOR THAT.

I could have stomach'd (LOL HAGGIS) it if Hollywood hadn't fawned over it and showered him with Oscars and sucked his dick so. That was over the top.

There was one missing from the Mel Gibson pages, so I did it myself.

I have Edge of Darkness sat on the side waiting to be watched.

Signs was a fucking monstrosity. What Women Want, light fluff, and tolerable depending what your mood is in, but unbearable at other times. Braveheart and The Patriot I hated, with good reason. Maverick was good too. I remember watching Bird on a Wire as a kid and laughing. Now it's just balls. Tequilla Sunrise is also watchable.

I'm hoping Edge of Darkness is going to be good!

I liked Apocalypto a lot, and The Passion of Jim Caviezelsielziesliel was ok despite not having the emotional impact for me that it apparently did for God's fanclub. I respect Gibson's decision to use native languages in his movies rather than just falling back on the Hollywood tradition of having villains played by Brits and good guys by Americans, like in something like The Patriot.

Doesn't make up for all these recent antics though.

Oh, I liked Signs, actually, but only for Howard Shore's (I think)* fantastic score. The actual film was pompous, straining to make some sort of commentary on spiritualism and fate. Bleh.

*Nope, it was James Newton Howard... I was a third right.

Wait, we're surprised that a Hollywood A-list actor is an egotistical, racist maniac? Welcome to America!

Holy shit, I forgot about Tequila Sunrise. I do love that movie.
