What the fuck's with Lonaf's domain?

The Russians will be the death of us all.

We are starting to get cabin fever.

it'd be nice to be kept updated by the lonaf-powers that be (or were)

I'm as in the dark as you are. Steve is the only one that has the power and access to fix things with the server he has a contract with

Haven currently doesn't even exist -- the board directory is gone from the bickenland subdomain.

don't worry, I have a copy (including all bugs ;) )
What matters is the database tables. I do hope he didn't delete these. The board directory only contains the software. The pie shell, so to speak. The filling is the database.

If it resided in that phpmyadmin install above root (in Bickenland root), it's gone. Got my ass chewed over it by the support team so it had to go.

Lonaf is close to being finished.

no, it would be in a completely different server section. At least one level above lonaf's root.
phpmyadmin install is just for installing the board software afaik (I never use it but install manually. That's safer when you run a heavily modified board. Mine run some 30 hacks each, some homemade, which would drive any auto-updating programme into utter despair)

If Bickenland's DB resided on the server's main phpmyadmin, then it's fine. I'm just saying that for some reason there was a phpmyadmin installation in Bick's root folder that I had to kill with fire. I'll look for the db next time I'm logged into Cpanel.

Hmm, hold on a moment. I'll have a look at the backup. The path to the database would be in the config file.

here we go:
$dbname = 'lonaf09_bickenland';
$table_prefix = 'forum_';

Are those tables still alife or did you kill them?

K. He's good to go, then. It's still there.

quite simple, actually. They used a security gap to install files in all folders of the boards that contained a reroute to their website. Most of the board software stayed intact. They practically kept the old house and hid it behind a new facade.

Is it back?
