Yes but we already kissed and made out and maybe some other things but not sex yet. I just got really busy, and then he got really needy and pouty then it turned me off so then I avoided him instead of saying, "Look doofus pouting turns me off"

Plus whatever job I want to go for is never good enough for my mom. I found a $20/hr job I was thinking of going for and instead of my mom saying "Thats great!" She says "Well I hope you aren't gonna make $20/hr the rest of your life. Yeah real supportive mom. *rolleyes* That really motivates me to look for work.

I don't know. I can't please my mom. If I get a new job like entry level she can't even let me enjoy the new job before she's pressuring me to go into management which I don't want to do.
 
Just do whatever you want to do Loktar. You need to work and get out of the house. So doing something is fine. Just act like you are listening to her, say thank you for the advice, input or something and blah blah blah etc etc.

$20 an hour isn't bad.

If your mom's motivation is "Honest and Honorable work" to prove that you are productive, then that box is checked.

If it's "get him out of the house", well $20 an hour is a living wage. Box checked.

Of course, if it's a control/power thing, you are fuqued.

Well, I think I finally found a job after being unemployeed for an entire year! I had to settle for retail entry level cause NOBODY will hire me for the kind of office work I have done in the past.

You should take whatever you can get in this bad economy Loktar. Sounds like you need to get the hell away from your mother. I had to move in with my parents over 6 years ago for a short time (6 months?) & it was hell!! It started out ok, but then the constant nagging & parental advise began!

It sounds like your mother is getting on your nerves so if I were you I would take any job just so you can move out. You can always keep looking & find something better later.

$20/hr is pretty good.

Yeah she didn't realize it was warehouse work. She thought it was construction work which apparently she feels is degrading and beneath me. Yeah because a good paying job that will help me build up my muscles is not a good idea.

Oh and on a related note she's threatening to cut off the cable and internet if I don't get up and out early to job search next week, so it looks like come Monday I might be disappearing from TK and my other messageboards while I find a job and a new place to live.
 
I'm sure all the construction workers who work on the roads,buildings,etc near there would love to hear that.
 
Go find the job YOU want and fuck your mother. She isn't the one doing the work or paying your rent when you move out.
