I was celebrating tonight & nobody was here.
Well TK does tend to slow down late night/early morning and around the holidays.
Remember when I told you I took that shit job in retail last month? Well, I just got a better job! I put in my 1 week notice yesterday!

I'm seriously considering trying to get back my old retail job I left 8 years ago. I'm that desperate.
I HATED doing the retail thing, but if you can stomach it you should do it.
I thought when I started it that it would not be so bad, but...I did not know I wasn't expected to work in just 1 department....oh hell no....MY hired on dept was TOYS, but in addition to that you are expected to cover lawn & garden area as cashier, mix paint in the hardware dept, cut fabrics in the fabrics dept, run the register & issue firearms cards in the sporting goods dept., rush to the front end of the store as a cashier on demand, help customers with heavy carry out merchandise, etc.!!! WTF?!!!
My mother has worked in retail for almost 10 years at Walmart & she said that it was only in the past 3 years that they expected you to multi-task your ass off in various other depts. besides your hired on dept. When Sam Walton was alive he invisioned Walmart to be a very different place than this sweat shop driven factory it now is!! But now that he has died, his offspring & the corporate cunts that now run the stores are only worried about profits!
Yeah, my being a ###### slave for Walmart is OVER!!
I hope whatever retail place you came from Loktar is better to work for?

It was Price Chopper Supermarket. I worked there semi happily for 6 years and then they opened a new store and made me a full time cashier. My troubles began on opening day when instead of being a cashier they had me bag all day. For the next two years they made my life miserable giving me nothing but cleaning/bagging/cart collecting shifts until one day I quit. I'm hoping if I go back there things will be different and I can just run register like I was supposed to years ago.
