GLASSES

I wear contacts most of the time, except in the wee hours of the morning. My eyes just can't handle them at 3:30 am. And my glasses only have one stem on them, so they hang off my face when I'm driving. Thus, somehow, my horrible eyesight has adusted to my drive to and from work without the aid of either. HUZZAH

I hate wearing glasses myself, but they can look really good on others. Maybe they're sexy because you can imagine flinging them off in a moment of passion. Or maybe it's just that they make the wearer look more intelligent and thus worthy of procreation. WHO KNOWS.

But wearing them is such a pain. They always get dirty and greasy and they steam up or get rain on them and you have no peripheral vision and they can fall off. Contacts might mean you have to touch your eye a bit, but they're so much better.

Contacts are worse than glasses. They're always falling out and then you step on them because they're so hard to see and have to keep putting in new ones and then buying more and more every week.

Totally blind women are even sexier. Just ask Lionel Richie the perv.

He's made a clay mold of a lot of women who didn't know what he was doing.

In that video, he actually made a clay mold of his dong, and got blind women to rub it.

He actually keeps many blind women in a dark room in his house, and then brings them out for "pottery" classes. He makes Josef Fritzl look like a saint.

I've been wearing contacts for about 7 years and I've never had a contact lens fall out, but I have had the lenses spontaneously decide to drop out of glasses and send that itty bitty screw flying out into the ether.

Have had contacts break up in my eyes before, though, which is really painful.

They think that's all there is to the world, they know nothing but Richie's dark room and "pottery" classes. It is a beautiful allegory for Plato's allegory of the Cave.

Ugh, torn contacts are the worst.

The last time I went to a strip club, once of the dancers wore glasses during her act.

I liked her. The glasses & geeky thing she had going on were nice.

Did she have teeth braces as well to complete the look?

She did not.

Could you have lied, just this once for me?

Yes I could have.

She had teeth braces.

There.

You are a very good man. To do this is against so many of your principles.

Could you complete the picture and tell me she had acne? (I just pushed this too far didn't I?)

You could have said she had a leg brace, and gone the "be careful what you wish for" route.

I've worn glasses since I was 8, and contacts since I was 18. WELCOME THE THE FOUR-EYED FAMILY,CASSIE!

Actually I'm out of contact lenses, and painfully overdue for an eye exam. MAYBE YOU HAVE INSPIRED ME INTO ACTION!

It is good to see things! I keep forgetting to put them on, but if I try to read something I REMEMBER.

I was thinking doing that but I'm too worried that the laser will slip and I'll end up blind or worse. Plus I need to get insurance that will cover the surgery since its like $2000 an eye.

Insurance doesn't cover it, not here anyway (neither government nor private insurance). But it was all worth it.

Severe complications that affect eyesight are insanely rare and mostly related to infection, not "laser slip". You're not living very dangerously if you get his done. ;)

Hmm....maybe I'll reconsider doing it when I get a job, move back out of parents house, pay off my debts and in general get my life back on track.

Yeah that could be a good start. Good luck with that.

I hope she kept them on the entire time.
