See, I don't actually mind this existing because even if it doesn't appeal to me (and it doesn't) I don't HAVE to watch it or anything and a lot of people will enjoy it and it's not actually doing any harm and it doesn't look offensively bad. It's not the same as if they'd made Darth Vader say "NOOOOO!" while killing The Emperor in the actual ROTJ or something. That would be bad.

The matte painting joke was funny at least.

I actually found that really funny in places! Not sure I'd still be saying that after a whole season (dunno how many episodes this has or how long they are), but yeah, not terrible at all.
