7 Hour

Sunday nights are tough when you have to think about going back to work tomorrow. There will be no quality sleep for me tonight.
 
Maybe working around the house until I am too tired to fight sleep - that could help. Although, I have had many sleepness Sunday nights/Monday mornings with a half an hour's worth of sleep to tide me over at work. Makes for an interesting drive home at night. In the dark. Where the shadows look like giant bunnies. I pity the car behind me as I brake for animals. Real or unreal. I sleep really well on Monday nights.
 
I know you can.

You have more strength and courage than me just by being in school. I hated school. Except for socializing -- I loved that part.

I am older than 1/2 the students here, but they can't tell. There is a handful of much older students as well. Many from other countries. This is also a snobby part of town, so not much socializing going on here.

And I would never discount your bravery. I do what I can to survive after becoming unemployed. Next step is to find/make sustainable income for myself.
(And to have fun! Hopefully!)
 
Yeah, have as much fun as you can - end of world, shortened bucket lists, etc.

Well, as for my bravery, I've never had to save the world like Bruce Willis in his Die Hard films.

Like now, I have an hour left in the computer lab until it closes. I need to fetch some dinner and then finish my project.
Do I go home where I will be distracted and tempted by my bed-
Or do I go to my office at work where I will have a nice desk from which to work and, yeah I see no reason not to go-except there is no bed! I want to sleep!

HA! I know EXACTLY how you feel. I feel ancient compared to the kids in my classes. There's a student in one of my classes who is 16. No joke. He's a fucking prodigy. The rest are a mix of determined scholars and rich kid legacies.

I have no problem making friends, tho. It pays to be 30 in a group of teenaged college students. They're using me for my age, but I don't care. I get to hang around hot, drunk, college girls for a few nights every month. Occasionally, my gf will pull one and... well... every straight guy's fantasy and all that.
