I actually want to have my laptop fixed. If possible. Or whatever. I am just glad I got through school. This is just a minor inconvenience for the time being.

DON'T BUY A WIN8 MACHINE! When you go to any store, ask for leftover Win7 machines. If you shop online, click on the link for "Windows 7 models".

Windows 8 is for portable devices, not for PCs. Windows 8 is for people who want to surrender their freedom and become cloud-sucking sheep. AVOID!

This is good stuff! Awesome. I will get a new laptop. I tried some fixes on my computer and realized that it isn't worth putting the $ into a 4 year old computer. (I think the life span should be forever BTW!!!!)
I took the harddrive out of my old lap top and will transfer stuff over. But it will probably be another month.
I really do appreciate all of the suggestions! Thanks!!!!!
