I've met husband number three.

He reminds me of Ray Romano.

I will probably decide there is something wrong with him in a couple of years.

But, for now, I will be smitten with him.

And, no, you may not meet him.
 
Because I'm under the illusion that there are still things here worth reading.
 
There are some things worth reading here. Some require conversation though. Somebody puts it out there and it is up to anyone who cares to respond to carry it forth.

I wrote that I've found someone new who I'm currently crushing on.

You can write back, if you so choose, anything. You might ask, "who is this fellow and where did you meet him?" You might ask, "is he good looking and have a lot of money?" You might ask, "is he disease free and can he pass a criminal record check?" You might even ask, "why are you so smitten with him?" Or, you could just make a comment. You might write, "about time you found someone new." Or, you might write, "he isn't worthy of you." Or, you might write, "he must be desperate." You could just even let it pass in silence because you have no opinion or don't give a rat's rear end. Or, you could even be pithy, witty, wise, charming, interested, or any combination thereof.

I'll broaden my previous post somewhat. He is a local man.
 
You might even write -

I've not met anyone new in a long time. My refrigerator is empty.

Or, you might write -

I have to wait until a full moon to meet anyone I really want to get into. Of course, after that, they won't ever speak to me again.

Or, you might write -

I still have the same old somebody I've always had and I'm very happy with that.

Or, you might write -

I play tiddly winks and have been known to eat my boogers.
 
Here is more to add to my original post.

I missed temple this morning. My clock is supposed to automatically change for daylight savings time but it didn't so I overslept. Drat and drat. So, I'm going to go to the early movie. Going to see Oz in Imax 3D. I'm not going to wait until Thursday to see it.
 
Si! Seph dice al juste. I am so happy E has found someone. We all need our somebodies. It gives us a reason to become someone.

We had that discussion yesterday.
Which is why I'm smitten with him.
We can sing.
We can trot.
We can jump in the river.
It can course all around us.

Or,
We'll sing in the sunshine
We'll laugh every day
We'll sing in the sunshine
but,
if you try to stick a ring on it,
I'll be on my way.

And, he says he is okay with that.

It is not the first time I've heard that.
They always say that.
I guess they think I'm kidding.
That I'm not serious.
But, I am.

Sure. I have a track record of attracting the Jekyll and Hyde type. They are wonderful, fun, loving, caring, kind, compassionate, sweet, adoring, adorable, generous, self-sufficient human beings before I agree to marry them. But, shortly after I say "I do," then they transition into something else. Domineering, jock scratching, filthy, hateful, untrustworthy, mean, evil, nasty, foul creatures with extremely bad tempers who think their purpose in life is to make mine a living hell, to change everything about me, to demand I do for them non-stop, that I become their servant or else. Guys my age seem to think women are supposed to cook for them, clean up after them, and take care of their desires while they put very little if anything into the relationship. These guys really do think women want nothing more than to be married to them, that we plot and devise schemes to make them marry us. Younger guys are fun for a bit but I'm at the age where the "younger guys" are still older guys and single for very good reasons.

It usually goes like this. I like them. They like me. We have lots of fun and seem compatible in so many ways. They live in their house. I live in mine. We spend time together. It gets all mooshy. We have the talk. They seem to understand and agree to progressing in the relationship in a way that is agreeable to me. It gets a little more serious. Next thing it is talking about marriage. How I can clean his house. How I can cook his meals. How I can ask his permission to go places. How I can't see movies he doesn't want to see. How I have to do what he wants because he is a man. How he gets to go out with his beer swilling, titty bar hanging out cretin mouth breather friends whenever he wants and I'd better be at home cleaning and cooking and waiting for his sorry drunk ass to haul his butt home. I would marry Data.
