The leaves fall in January and February here. OAK TREES Anyway, I have a leaf blower and I spent an our or so blowing leaves and it's a lot more fun than raking, IMO! Normally I don't bother raking (OR BLOWING), but they were getting so thick around the house that they were choking the grass.

May is the cruelest month, IMO! I just spent the day killing vines with evil razor sharp thorns and then I got out the push mower and mowed all the places I can't get the riding lawn mower into. IT'S A JUNGLE OUT THERE.

I'm still raking last Fall's leaves. Still need to buy a new pushmower. No riding mower for Loktar.

I have 2 acres to mow, there's no way I could do it all with a push mower now. I did have to when I was a kid.

Yeah I guess that's fair, My mom has a smaller property and in some ways I am still a kid. I prefer the term man-child though.
