Serious Question for the Guys

I cleared a few posts out of my box. Darn, there is some good stuff in there going way, way back.
Is there a way to download all those pms so I don't lose them?
 
'Jack' is the man for that question for sure. Ever notice how when he's digging he'll ask a question like you're having a conversation but then fails to answer back when he either gets what he came for or realizes you won't part with the info?

Hilarious.

For awhile I thought we were communicating like ordinary people. He's a regular fisherman.
 
Started going through the pms and it was a walk down memory lane.
Hope some of those people who no longer post here are doing well.
Going to make a cup of coffee and raise it to them in about five minutes.
Then, I've got to get to work.
This is a working vacation.

Jesus Gear, you of all people should know better. I have a fucking life and am NOT here 24/7, whether you believe it or not and today I was quite busy til just now :D

You can't save your pms here once you get over the limit, but if you want a hard copy when you clean house, just either copypaste to email or word (word is better or whatever WP you use) and label accordingly. I have a small word file with all my pms back to 2005.

I asked eggs (nicely) to expand my box to either 300 or 500 I forget. He may have done that for everyone, but he may be able to make yours even bigger.

But, copy/paste and save. Then delete.
 
I bitcoined all the relevant vbulletin patches and none of them are acceptable for what you're talking about, so this rather archaic method will have to do if you want to save them. If you use an excel spreadsheet format, you can probably organize them just the way you like.

This thread makes me remember Gonad. sigh
 
Depending on when you enter this conversation, that can be interpreted in so many different ways...
 
I learned how to save my messeges from the great Messenger himself. Don't ya miss him?
He was too good for this place. ;)
 
All I ever save are the love letters I get from Ilyanna.

Someday I hope to get another to add to the one that I have.

Maybe 'love letter' isn't exactly accurate.
 
Oh my gosh. I just went through Mirah's inbox. I had to stop at 2008. I couldn't handle it. I am laughing so hard right now.

I have an old one from someone complaining I take up for some people and not for others. That was from back in the day when we had other boards visit all the time.
 
I never look at mine. Most of them are just gossip anyway.

How's the vacation going?
