General Football (Soccer) thread

What's going on? Why's everyone into football now? Is this real life?

I got into it a couple years ago. Here we have Major League Soccer (MLS) which has been growing in popularity in recent years. The city I live in is defiantly a soccer (football) city.

There is just something about soccer/football that I enjoy (although it can be extremely frustrating).
 
It's either the best or worst mascot ever. I can't tell...
 
Congratulations to those lady soccer ladies for kicking that ball with their dainty, lady feet.
 
Alex Morgan is among the cute players on the team.
